Which campsite to choose on the Ile d'Oléron?
Charmed by the environment, hilly and wooded, the view of the ocean, we let ourselves be seduced by the APV L'Anse des Pins campsite.
Seaside campsite in Oléron
Ideally located, in the heart of a pine forest, with direct access to the beach, we favored a location with a panoramic view of the sea. It was a real breath of fresh air!
The feet in water !
For our greatest pleasure, we just had to take the small path to cross the dune, and here you are on the beach, we adapt the program according to our mood, fishing on foot, lazing around, sliding sports, and what could be more comforting than ending the day with a family picnic with the only horizon: the sunset.
4-star camping on Oleron Island
Our luxury mobile home was new and very well equipped, very clean, with a covered terrace. The choice was not easy, we really hesitated with the ecolodge tent; the perfect compromise between the 100% natural camping experience with all the comforts. We opted for the mobile home because the sanitary facilities seemed essential to us with young children. But I keep the objective, in a few years, to make them live the Ecolodge experience. The campsite has a lot of charm with its winding paths, its pine trees and caravanners and motorhomes were also delighted by the setting.

The water park has delighted us, whether the sun is out or not, especially with its pirate ship water games area, its slides and its two swimming pools, a heated indoor swimming pool and a large outdoor swimming pool. Reserved for adults for moments of relaxation and relaxation, the wellness area offers a sauna (on reservation) and a jacuzzi.
Island of Oléron with the family
Regarding the infrastructure, between the playground with its sensational zip line, the multisports ground, the children's club, everything has been thought out to delight the whole family.
Our stay taking place during the summer period of July-August, everyone was able to indulge in their favorite hobbies: daytime sports tournaments, family challenges, bodysuits, surfing, the little ones at the children's club.
The nice surprise was for the animations, not having the habit of participating in them. We were able to attend a few shows, a cabaret evening, a magic show, a rock concert, all very successful and it is without apprehension that we will return.

We appreciated the proximity of the village of Domino, 500 short steps from the campsite, so we were able to take advantage of the daily meeting of local producers (oyster farmers, market gardeners, winegrowers, salt workers…), enough to fill our baskets at the produce market. ever fresher.
Without forgetting the small fishing port of La Cotinière with all its colors, which will provide you with freshly landed fish in the morning, multiple souvenir shops and a festive and friendly atmosphere in the evening (concerts, fireworks, night markets).
It is without hesitation that we could again choose Camping Oleron l'Anse des Pins **** for our future holidays, the experience was exotic (multitudes of reliefs on the same territory), privileged and relaxing (rocked by the waves from our accommodation with a sea view), in our campsite with its feet in the water, the ideal cocktail for a successful holiday.

Domino is a perfect base for visiting the island of Oléron: want a visit, an outing; we just had to get on our bikes. Many cycle paths through marshes, forests and by the sea, this wild and unspoilt island is full of nature reserves where fauna and flora coexist in peace.
The island has a very rich heritage, with the unmissable Chassiron lighthouse which stands on the tip of the island, the citadel of the Château d'Oléron, the famous Fort Boyard, Fort Louvois and many others .
Fishing & oyster beds
